Baba Salifu Yahaya is a postdoctoral research fellow with the maize research whose research focuses on abiotic stress responses, root development and associated molecular mechanisms in maize. He has been an active participant in one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund,the National Natural Science Foundation Key Project, andone sub-project of the Ministry of Science and Technology's Key R&D Program and one Sichuan International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Project. He has in the process published or participated in the publication of 5 high-level academic papers in SCI journals.
